writer/director/producer Jesse Wheeler is a 2006 graduate of the University of Southern California's School of Cinema-Television. Raised on a farm in rural Texas, Jesse attended Baylor University where he studied criminology and served as a forensic homicide investigator for local and state law enforcement agencies. Shortly after receiving his law degree from Baylor Law School, Jesse enrolled in USC's film program. Though enrolled as a directing student, Jesse spent much of his time in the screenwriting department where he completed two feature-length screenplays and received the prestigious Alfred P. Sloan Foundation Grant for feature screenwriting. JUST is his director's thesis for USC's Master of Fine Arts Program in Film and Television Production. |
